With a background in education and storytelling (and a deep appreciation for toddler logic and snack negotiation), I bring a unique mix of heart, humor, and hustle to everything I do.

How This Wild Ride Became Mine​

Macaroni KID didn’t start with me, but it found me at exactly the right time. After years of dreaming up creative ways to help families connect and thrive, I stumbled across a listing for the Harrisburg & West Shore publisher role... and something just clicked. Thousands of events, one Christmas baby, and more than a few delightfully chaotic adventures later, I’ve expanded to include Carlisle–Boiling Springs–Shippensburg and Hershey–Hummelstown–Elizabethtown–Manheim–Lititz, growing one local publication into a connected Capital Region resource for families.
What started as a side hustle quickly became a calling... and somewhere along the way, it became my village, too.

Colette is the magical unicorn who keeps the wheels turning and the inbox from bursting into flames. From calendaring wizardry to logistics lifesaving, she’s the one making sure your event makes it into the newsletter (and that Rachael remembers what day it is). She's equal parts cheerleader, spreadsheet master, and emergency snack provider. If you've ever felt like things were unusually organized for once… you probably have Colette to thank.​

Social Media Assistant, Bestie-in-Residence & Official Snap Queen

Once the fearless leader of Macaroni KID Carlisle, Kendra now brings her eye for detail and creative flair to the whole operation. These days, she’s a rock-solid assistant and our go-to for gorgeous, candid, and kid-wrangling-proof photography. Want your business featured with scroll-stopping visuals that scream "this is THE place for families"? Kendra’s camera has you covered. Her photos are available as an add-on to any advertising package and come with minimal child bribery and maximum charm.​
