Because Every Bunny Deserves to Belong
Everybunny Belongs began with a simple idea: create an egg hunt where families would not have to wonder whether their child could participate. No child should have to watch the magic from the sidelines because a traditional event moves too quickly, feels too overwhelming or was not designed with their needs in mind.
What began as an inclusive egg hunt has grown into a full community celebration built around accessibility, kindness and connection. The goal is not simply to accommodate children after the event has been planned. It is to consider different needs from the beginning and build an experience where belonging is part of the foundation.
The Village Showed Up in 2026
We planned for 750 people. We hoped for 1,000. More than 1,500 showed up, in approximately 45-degree rain.
Not everything went perfectly. But for every moment of event-day chaos, there were a hundred moments of kindness: children helping other children, parents sharing eggs, teenagers stepping up as Bunny Buddies and strangers becoming neighbors in real time.

What Makes Everybunny Belongs Different?
Eggceptional Hunt
A dedicated adaptive and sensory-considerate hunt creates additional flexibility for children who benefit from a different pace, setup or level of support.
Bunny Buddies
Youth and adult volunteers can provide encouragement and practical support to children who need a little help navigating the experience.
Sensory & Regulation Support
Calmer spaces, thoughtful activity placement and sensory resources help children regulate, reset and return to the fun when they are ready.
Community Resources
Families can meet local nonprofits, healthcare providers, educators, activity programs and organizations that support children and caregivers throughout the year.
Belonging by Design
Inclusion is not a side activity or special add-on. It is part of how the event is planned, communicated and experienced from the beginning.
Looking Ahead to 2027
The next Everybunny Belongs celebration is being planned with more space, stronger event systems, expanded accessibility resources and everything we learned from the extraordinary 2026 turnout.

Families are already thinking about summer by the time spring arrives. The planned Summer Camp Fair will give parents an opportunity to meet local programs, ask questions and discover options while enjoying the larger Everybunny Belongs celebration.

The Moments That Mattered Most
The biggest moments were easy to see. The quieter ones were the real heart of the day: a teenager placing eggs into a younger child’s basket when they froze, a parent sharing extras so another child would not leave empty-handed and volunteers standing in the rain for hours because they believed every child deserved the experience.
