Types of Reviews We Offer
1. Standard Reviews
These are organic features we write based on places we’ve visited on our own. Want to make sure you're on our radar? You can request a standard review, and if it’s a fit, we’ll plan a visit as our schedule allows. No strings attached—just genuine experiences worth sharing.
2. Hosted Reviews
For hosted reviews, we offer our honest opinion in exchange for a complimentary experience or product. We’ll focus on the best parts of your business and schedule our visit during a low-traffic time to ensure a smooth experience. These include a dedicated article and social media post highlighting our experience. We STRONGLY recommend pairing your hosted review with an upgraded directory listing which allows us to embed your business or organization information across our site.
Sponsored Reviews are part of our paid advertising offerings and are our highest-priority reviews. These include the same honest and enthusiastic storytelling as hosted reviews but are timed to complement your advertising package and maximize engagement.

We follow all FTC disclosure guidelines and clearly share what type of review is being provided—our audience knows when something is hosted or sponsored. But no matter the type, our opinions are always our own.

We generally only accept larger barter proposals (like multi-event collaborations, memberships, or higher-value trades) from businesses and organizations we already know and love.
If we haven’t worked together yet or haven’t experienced what you offer firsthand, a great first step is to request a Hosted Review. This gives us a chance to experience your business and see how well it connects with our audience—plus it opens the door for future collaborations and bigger barters.
